And\u00fajar Flamenca Baila: 188 dancers for the opening (19 February)<\/h3>\n
The programme opened with And\u00fajar Flamenca Baila<\/strong>, featuring 21 groups<\/strong> and 188 dancers<\/strong> across children\u2019s, youth, and adult categories.<\/p>\n The jury, chaired by Antonio Guti\u00e9rrez<\/strong> and made up of \u00darsula Moreno<\/strong>, Susana S\u00e1nchez<\/strong> and Agust\u00edn Barajas<\/strong>, highlighted the very high technical and artistic level, with special mention for the work of local dance schools.<\/p>\n The catwalk programme delivered some of the most anticipated moments of the anniversary:<\/p>\n In the awards section, Cristina Hoyos<\/strong> received the And\u00fajar Flamenca Glamour Award<\/strong> for her career and her role in promoting flamenco internationally. In addition, Noelia A. Romero<\/strong> was named Model of the Year<\/strong>, recognised for her professionalism and charisma on the runway.<\/p>\n The 9th Mu\u00e9vete Flamenca New Talent Competition<\/strong> crowned @pedrolopezdesigner<\/strong> as the winner, receiving a \u20ac1,000<\/strong> prize and a direct spot at And\u00fajar Flamenca 2027<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The award was presented by the CEO of ska-logistik<\/strong>, Francisco T\u00e9llez<\/strong>, in recognition of the designer\u2019s innovative approach.<\/p>\n The jury was composed of:<\/p>\n Alongside the winner, finalists such as Adelino P\u00e9rez Design<\/strong>, Mar\u00eda Jim\u00e9nez por Antonio Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, Luc\u00eda Rinc\u00f3n Design<\/strong> and Pedrolaur\u00ed L\u00f3pez Design<\/strong> took part, showcasing the energy and forward momentum of emerging flamenco fashion.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The evening also delivered a memorable image. In Plaza de Espa\u00f1a, Francisco T\u00e9llez<\/strong> crossed the runway and Cristina Hoyos<\/strong> spontaneously joined him in an improvised \u201cmirror dance\u201d that seemed to stop time.<\/p>\n The audience responded first with awed silence and then with sustained applause.
